Having received the award for the “Best Red Wine in Italy” from Luca Maroni, Foglia di Vite is clearly a product set to win over the market. Recently presented by Roberta Ciaccioni on the occasion of the “Italy’s Finest Wines according to Luca Maroni” event in Milano, Foglia di Vite is a firmly structured wine with a deep ruby red colour and an appealing, velvety flavour that combines hints of cherry with chocolate and vanilla.
Behind this wine lies the idea of creating a top-quality product while respecting the rhythm of nature and the environment around us, aged for 12 months in oak barrels and barriques and then for a further 4 months in the bottle before being sold. For bottling the wine, the choice fell to “Select Bio”, the first cork in the world with no carbon footprint and zero emissions.
The first sustainable wine cork is produced by Nomacorc using renewable polymers of plant origin, obtained from sugar cane and thus 100% renewable and able to facilitate the absorption of carbon dioxide. Azienda Agricola Ciaccioni has always existed in close contact with the soil, seeking to produce quality wines while respecting the nature around us.
